Amenities and Services

— The Garage
Drive directly into a parking garage hidden under the hotel designed by the Schneiders in collaboration with architect Shinichiro Ogata according to Japanese philosophies of yin and yang, light and shadow.

— Smokers‘ and Billiard Lounge
That low-lit, atmospheric, curio-filled room near the reception with artworks in the vitrines, an antique billiard table, and plush seating? This is where you can enjoy a cigar or cigarette without guilt; feel free to order drinks or book a party as well.

— The Library/Conference/Meeting Room
The first-floor library is a peaceful space for deep thoughts, presentations, wine tastings, and small meetings. Beyond the bookshelves and comfortable seating is high-tech presentation equipment, and for your listening pleasure, explore the Vallauri Collection of classical vinyl records.

— Cinema
On the Almhof’s ground floor is a cinema with seven comfortable sofas, each seating up to three people. Guests can book and screen films in addition to Almhof’s screening program.

— Children care
Even here, younger guests might not want to ski every day. For those children, Almhof offers a few well-appointed diversions that, sigh of relief, come with adult supervision. For younger children, a spacious playroom is packed with dress-up clothes, games, and other activities and keeps the most curious kids happy, busy, and always attended to.

— Playrooms
Teenagers can hang out in a vast, somewhat hidden space situated near the bridge between hotel and garage—this clubroom is kitted out with wall-to-wall Persian rugs, huge pouf seats, and a Playstation room.

— Kids dining
At the end of a day on the slopes or enjoying Lech, children don’t have to be bored by their parents’ long dinners; Almhof offers a children’s table in the library where kids can meet each other, eat at their own pace, and just be kids.

— Ski Room/Boot Room/Gear Deposit
Walk in from outside, set your skis on racks in the first room, then sit down under a wreath of antlers to take off boots. Lock them in your own heated cubby and ascend. If you need addtional space there are lockers to take your helmets, back-packs, air-bags, back protectors and anything you just don’t want to take up to your room.
Almhof has sleds, toboggans, prams, and other equipment to borrow and use.

— Equipment storage
Leave your skis and other sporting equipment with us all the time, from year to year.

— Vinotheque
Shop from Almhof’s award-winning wine cellar featuring 25,000 bottles of primarily European wines; these are carefully curated by Josef, Almhof’s longtime head sommelier and “Sommelier of the Year 2018” (Gault Millau). Guests can choose to bring home an unusual Austrian wine or local fruit spirit as a souvenir.

— Shop
Buy the things you love at Almhof—Austrian glassware, beautiful wooden cutting boards, wines, and much more—in our in-house shop on the ground floor. All products have been carefully selected by Gerold and Katia.

— Aesop Kiosk
The first thing is the smell—delectable, natural, sometimes unidentifiable. The second is the silkiness and decadence of the lotions, shampoos, masks, and soaps. Since 1987, the Australian natural cosmetics and skin-care firm Aesop has gained a cultish reputation (even if the Aesop people don’t like the word “cult”). Almhof’s guestrooms were the first in Europe to use Aesop amenities, a relationship that goes back years. Now, at the entrance to the new Almhof spa, a standalone Aesop kiosk offers the products in your room and many others.
